July is almost gone, and it has been hot...too hot..

 ...and I have struggled with some health issues, wich is not over yet. But some short photo tours in my garden and neighborhood, I have managed. The mute swans chickens have grown, sadly they have lost one of the five. And the heatwave that also hit Norway, was tough for us all, birds, plants and humans. Hopefully we now can enjoy the last week of summer without too much heat...

Whooper swans, gathering at the peninsula Fosen, mid - Norway, in the spring.

Every year whooper swans are gathering here in Fosenhalvøya, both in spring and autumn. In springtime they can reach a number of 800-900, before they are flying to their nesting places. In the fall they return again, before flying south for the winter. 💖
