Fuglene i fjellet har det tøft og strever med å oppfostre sine små.
Dette er en lappspurv hann og ungen gjemte seg i lyngen.

also known as the Lapland bunting, male.
The chick was hiding in the heather.

Flere arter fugler i fjæra denne morgenen.
Det var stor aktivitet på fuglene, og de fanget små fisk.
Her er en Siland, hunn (Mergus serrator)/

There was obviously a lot of small fish here, because the birds were very active!
This is a Red-breasted merganser, female.

Selv en gruppe Lundefugl var ivrig etter å fange fisk her.
Even a group of Puffins were catching fish here.
En sel fulgte med stimen av større fisk som jaktet på mindre fisk!
A seal was hunting the bigger fish, who hunted the small ones!

Siden jeg hadde litt tid til overs før hvalsafarien,
slengte jeg med med på lundefugl safari! :-)/

I joined Puffin safari as well! :-)
Lundefuglen er en veldig vakker og spesiell fugl, synes jeg!

Litt sjøgang og bølger og sjøsyke og kaldt, men det var
fort glemt da denne spermhvalen dukket opp!! :-D
Then I finally got my whale!! :-)
We went out with the boat at 19.00, and it was
a bit wind, with waves and i became a little seasick...
But it was forgotten when the spermwhale popped up!! :-D
Og selvsagt midnattsola da vi gikk til land igjen.../
And of course the midnight sun, when we went ashore again......
En helt uforglemmelig reise til Vesterålen, men fortsatt mye
jeg skulle sett der nord, så jeg må tilbake igjen! :-)
An unforgettable tour up North, but still a lot to see,
so I have til return one day! :-)
